Ellen joined Corker Binning as a Paralegal in May 2021 from a London based Tier 1 firm.
In her previous role, Ellen investigated and prepared fitness to practise cases on behalf of education and healthcare regulators. She also volunteered with the Amicus Florida Project and presented cases before the First-Tier Tribunal on behalf of the Zacchaeus 2000 Trust. Prior to this, Ellen specialised in the defence of financial crime, corporate crime and regulatory investigations in her role as a Legal Assistant at another Tier 1 firm .
Ellen read Law and Criminology at the University of Brighton, and subsequently completed a master’s degree and the Bar Professional Training Course concurrently. Ellen was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2019 and will commence a Criminal Pupillage in October 2022. She is a Scholar of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and the Social Secretary of the Middle Temple Young Barrister’s Association.
