Anna Rothwell - Solicitor

Anna Rothwell qualified as a solicitor in 2006, became a duty solicitor in 2007 and joined Corker Binning in February 2010.

She previously worked at Wilson & Co solicitors on a wide range of cases from general criminal and fraud proceedings to complex extradition matters.  She has extensive experience of advising in the police station and in relation to Magistrates’ and Crown Court trials.  Anna also has particular experience in extradition and immigration related criminal matters, stemming from her background in immigration law. 

Since joining Corker Binning Anna has broadened her experience of white collar criminal and regulatory matters, and is currently advising on investigations and prosecutions brought by the Serious Fraud Office, Crown Prosecution Service, Office of Fair Trading and HM Revenue & Customs into fraud, cartel offences, money laundering, bribery and corruption.  She is also involved in several cases involving the US Department of Justice, advising both witnesses and those whose extradition is sought for prosecution.  Anna is a member of the Extradition Lawyers’ Association, London Criminal Courts Solicitors’ Association, Liberty and Amnesty International.  She volunteers on Liberty’s legal advice line.
